Super Mario 3-Dees Gummies

I love gummy bears. Its true! There is just something about gummy stuff that tastes so good. Whether they are traditional gummy bears, worms, or even a more modern gummysaver. So when i saw Super Mario 3-Dees at 711 I jumped on it. Unfortunately these gummies are more sparkle than substance.

The amount of gummies you get isn’t very satisfying and the trade off is supposed to be the look of the gummies. As you can see in pictures included in this review some of these gummies aren’t easy to tell what they are supposed to be shaped like. Donkey Kong and Yoshi are crystal clear but I also ate a Dixie Kong (that could have been Diddy) or Dixie. I also chowed down on a Mario Brother who I would have assumed was Luigi based off the blue color but their were repeating gummies of Yoshi and DK in different colors and flavors,

The watermelon flavor isn’t bad or good, it falls into an indeterminable middle ground. The berry flavor is revolting and tastes more like flavorless gummy. The point of a gummy is that they have a taste that distracts from the gelatin blandness! The strawberry flavor was sweet but had a short lifespan like a piece of Juicy Fruit. The orange flavor was easily the best, giving both a lasting taste and a burst of orange goodness.

What 3-Dees Gummies needs is more gummy, more flavor, and better flavor. Essentially this is a terrible product and you’d be fine to pass up on these. Out of four flavors only one really succeeds and hits the bullseye. This wouldn’t be a bad thing but the other three flavors can be described in one word each as: ok, flavorless, and decent.

Strongest Flavor: Orange, had the kick and lasting flavor

Weakest Flavor: Berry, flavorless

Final Verdict: D
